  • What should I bring?
    • Running clothes for a variety of weather conditions, including temperatures ranging from 30’s to 70’s. We recommend a hat, gloves, tights and shorts, and a light jacket.
    • Hydration system (at least 16 oz.) for long runs.
  • What is the typical weather?
    • In mid May, the average high is 71°F and average low is 41°F. The average precipitation for May is 1.1 inches.
    • In mid October, the average high is 63°F and average low is 33°F. The average precipitation for October is 2.1 inches.
  • What if I’ve never been trail running? What if I am worried that I can’t keep up?
    • There will be a few options for each run to accommodate varying abilities. Most of the trails are not technical. Everyone will have a running partner. We want to support your needs to have a positive running experience.  You do not have to run every step of the trails.
  • What are the accommodations like?
    • If you are participating in the weekend retreat and we are procuring the accomodations, we’ll match them to your group’s size and needs. Participants often share rooms and a king or queen bed.
  • Can you accommodate my dietary needs?
    • Yes, just let us know your specific requests on the registration form.
  • What is your refund policy?
    • The registration fees for the Icicle Running Retreat are non­refundable starting five weeks prior to the retreat for any other reason than if the retreat is cancelled. Refer to the participant waiver for more specific information.
